I bring a unique blend of skills, education, and lived experience that allows my clients to feel seen, understood, and supported. With a background in counselling and psychology, and certification in Functional Medicine nutrition, I offer individualized care that honours both the science of the body and the wisdom of the human experience.
My own healing journey has shaped every part of the work I do. After navigating and recovering from complex diagnoses—including MCAS, POTS, CHIRS, Poly Immune Reactivity Syndrome, and more—I developed a deep respect for the body’s capacity to communicate, adapt, repair, and transform. These experiences allow me to meet clients with compassion, humility, and a genuine understanding of how overwhelming chronic symptoms and illness can be.
I am endlessly curious and committed to learning, always seeking deeper truths and transformative information that can help my clients reclaim their health. Today, my passion lies in guiding others through their own healing—helping them reconnect with their bodies, build resilience, and discover what’s possible when nutrition, nervous system support, and personalized care come together.
You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to walk with you, one step at a time.

Are you sensing blocks or major hurdles on your path toward peace, joy, or relational thriving?
Through virtual counselling, I offer a gentle, caring presence on your journey toward facing and moving those boulders. This might include trauma, childhood wounds, or unhelpful patterns of thinking or behaving that are impacting your flourishing today. Symptoms of distress in everyday life like anxiety or depression can provide powerful clues about where we need to focus our healing exploration.
I also provide tools for understanding our body’s responses to stress and ways to cope with the daily challenges while doing deep processing of past wounds. I am trained as a Level II EMDR therapist – a well-researched, body-based power therapy that helps you work through trauma with safety, support, and effectiveness.
As a person of deep faith, a mother of adult children, a grandmother, and wife of a pastor for 3 decades, I offer experience in many elements of life’s journey. I integrate counselling modalities like OEI, CBT, polyvagal theory, and internal family systems for adults, couples, teens, and those with neurodiversity.
Every human is a unique and amazing individual, worthy of the time and effort to explore and transform areas of challenge to places of growth and health—How can I join you on your healing journey?

The journey of life can be difficult at times and then it can get better. I think we all get stuck from time to time and it’s uncomfortable, to say the least. An important part of my life journey is walking beside others who may need a hand up when life gets complicated and overwhelming. I believe in the power of a growth mindset and the possibility of change. My counselling practice focuses on the client’s needs (whatever age) and I apply whatever strategies best suit them. I use an integrative approach. I rely upon evidence based counselling modalities such as CBT; EMDR; Internal Family Systems-Informed; Mindfulness; OEI; Play, Art, and Sandtray Therapy; and Polyvagal Theory. These modalities are then combined with my experience and intuition.
I have been a counsellor with children, youth, individuals, and families for over 40 years. Living in Prince George since 1989, my career has included counselling and teaching in many educational institutions including elementary schools, high schools, and universities. I have addressed multiple topics including addiction, anxiety, anger, depression, child and adolescent development, critical incidents, fostering, grief and loss, gender issues, conflict and harassment, mood disorders, and relationship difficulties.

I use a slow and controlled, attentive approach to massage therapy, focusing on working thoroughly and gradually to address the root of your discomfort over weeks and months to get you feeling your best. I believe that therapeutic pressure is unique to each person, and my main goal is to find the level that allows your body to release without pain, bracing, or holding your breath.
My treatments are collaborative, and focused on helping you move, feel and function better in your day-to-day life. Typical treatment techniques used in combination with breath work are myofascial release, trigger point therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), muscle energy technique (MET),Swedish massage, pre and post-natal massage, and lymph drainage. If you are looking to integrate massage therapy into a holistic, long-term care plan to feel well, I would love to work with you.
Outside of work I have a busy family life with 2 small kids and an Australian cattle dog. When I have a moment, you’ll find me reading page-turner books, going for nature walks, or riding my bike.
Specializations:
