Demystifying the 'Pause

Nourishing Change with Clarity and Confidence

When the Body Speaks is a science-based workshop held in-person at the BiTS clinic. The program objective is to reframe how we view and navigate peri-menopause and menopause. You’ll leave with practical tools, a clearer understanding of your body, and a renewed sense of confidence — empowered to move into this next chapter with compassion, wisdom, and possibility.

Course Content

Perimenopause and menopause can feel confusing, unsettling, and at times even isolating — especially when your body no longer feels familiar. If you’ve found yourself wondering, “What is happening to me?” you are not alone.

This supportive workshop is designed for women approximately ages 30–60 who are navigating (or preparing for) perimenopause and menopause. All are welcome — including partners, friends, daughters, and anyone who wants to better understand or support a woman in this season of change.

Through a functional nutrition and whole-body lens, you’ll gain clarity around what your body is moving through. We’ll explore how hormonal shifts influence energy, mood, metabolism, sleep, brain function, and emotional resilience — and how to support yourself with nourishment and lifestyle practices that feel sustainable.

Together, we’ll explore how to

  • Make sense of the symptoms you’re experiencing
  • Feel more at home in your changing body
  • Support hormonal shifts with nourishing food and nervous system–informed care
  • Build confidence to communicate with healthcare practitioners
  • Gently reduce symptoms and restore steadiness
  • Strengthen self-trust during a time of transition

Most importantly, we’ll explore this chapter not as a decline — but as an incredible opportunity. This transition can be a powerful invitation to reassess, realign, and nourish yourself in ways you may never have before. It can be a season of clarity, deeper self-connection, renewed boundaries, and vibrant midlife strength.

You are not broken. You are evolving.
